THE FOLLOWING FIRE RESTRICTIONS APPLY:

* ALL OUTDOOR BURNING OF DEBRIS AND YARD MATERIALS IS PROHIBITED.

* OPEN FIRES ARE PROHIBITED INCLUDING CAMPFIRES, CHARCOAL FIRES, COOKING FIRES AND WARMING FIRES.

* USE OF FIREWORKS IS PROHIBITED

* BURN BARRELS ARE PROHIBITED AFTER 10AM. Fires must be deadout by 10am

* A 1 hour fire watch is required after running chainsaws and yard machines. Water supply must be on site.

* A 2016 OUTDOOR BURN PERMIT IS REQUIRED.

* OUTDOOR BURNING PERMITS, ARE AVAILABLE AT THE BY CONTACTING THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AT 541-629-8911 FOR AN APPOINTMENT DURING REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS.

* FIRE RESTRICTIONS CAN CHANGE OVERNIGHT.

PROHIBTED FIRE ACTIVITES INCLUDE:

 •  FIREWORKS

 •  BURNING OF AUTOS & TIRES. 

•  STRUCTURE BURNING * INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO TRAILIER'S, CAMPERS, RV'S, AND ANY BUILDING OR
DEMOLITION. 

•  OPEN FIELD BURNING / DEBRIS BURNING

* GRASS AREAS & BRUSH AREAS.

 • WOOD STOVES & OTHER WOOD APPLIANCES FOR ENCLOSED FIRE'S:

  • A) USED FOR HEATING A HOME ARE ALLOWED
  • B) USED OUTSIDE AS A COOKING SOURCE OR AS A HEAT SOURCE ARE NOT ALLOWED WHEN OPEN BURNING RESTRICTIONS ARE IN EFFECT.
